Permits
The Principal Shopping District is authorized to make written recommendations to the Mayor regarding issuance or denial of permits under Chapter 812 of the City Code of Ordinances.

The following permit applications are available through the Principal Shopping District.

  • Street Vendor
  • Charitable Solicitor
  • Street Performer
  • Special Event

    Mini-grants
    The Principal Shopping District mini-grant program was created to help publicize the area and to promote the economic health of the district through financial support of events. The Principal Shopping District Board of Directors is responsible for making award decisions. The $500 grant, is a reimbursement of funds directly spent on advertising and publicity for the event.

    The Principal Shopping District Board of Directors has set an entry deadline of March 31st for events occurring in the upcoming year.
